Daughters of Zion outreach ministry serves people from all walks of life who are dealing with:
• domestic abuse
• abandonment
• poverty
• low self-esteem
Our belief is that a more holistic approach is needed in dealing with these issues.
Therefore, we address the internal aspects of the problems rather than simply focusing on the outward manifestations. Our approach includes biblically based programs and an environment with a balanced blend of compassion and accountability. It is our belief that by changing the life of one individual at a time, the hope for a future sound and healthy generation is viable.
We are now operating a women's clinic in the city of Petit Goave (Haiti) to nutritionally assist women who are pregnant. We are also educating them with information about hygiene and disease preventions methods in order to avoid the spread of contaminable diseases. Much help is needed to acquire laboratory equipment, medicine ect.
We are also starting an orphanage in the city of Merger to help the disadvantaged children from broken families. As part of the orphanage, we are in the process of implementing a skill training center and a music department. We hope to aid all ages in their efforts to break the poverty cycle, and to decrease their dependence and helplessness for future generations. Again much assistance is needed to obtain equipment, farming educational tools and musical instruments ect.
