People in Haiti, especially in rural villages, often died from preventable or treatable health problems because medical services and supplies are not available to them. Insect bites, injuries, and stomach flu shouldn't result in death. The sad reality is far to often they do.
Problems are exacerbated in the remote villages where people have none or little access to road or transportation. A sick person often turn to the only help available, even if it is a witch doctor. Without proper consultation from professional medical personnel. Health condition often worsen and in some cases result in death. That is why daughters of zion outreach is asking you to help us build clinics in some villages.
