Children and Widows Matter Project

Haiti is a republic that has been marred by scandals of government corruptions. In recent times violence has broken out over election results. Opposing parties are accusing each other of election fraud. Fighting has broken out in the street  and the poor, the orphans and widows suffer the most. That is why daughters of zion outreach wants to help care for the poor, the orphans, and the widows because if we the society don't care for the poor, the orphans, and the widows and build for them a future of hope, no one will, as orphans and widows are introduced to the warmth and love provided by the community and care found in our orphans and widows homes, they will learn to heal their society. There they will receive an education and bible training that will help them become productive, upright, and moral member of Haitian society. The goals of daughters of zion outreach is to nature and build into this and the next generation of Haitian people  so that today orphans will rise above their history of despair to become the future hope of a desperate land.

                                                          OBJECTIVE

Widows will be the principle caregiver in each orphans care facility. They understood the pain each orphans faces, having experienced lost as well. We will maintain a staff of one caregiver for every four children, so we can be assured that a frightened child will be held and comforted by someone who cares. This unique home combination will provide an effective method of meeting  both the spiritual and physical need of widows and each orphans. Each home will have the capacity to house 20-25 widows and orphans. The home will provide beneficial, nurturing holistic care to parentless infants, children, and adolescents.

Please be a part of this wonderful project because after the earthquake that took place in Haiti in January 12, 2010 widows and orphans need us now more than ever before.
