LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT & CEO OF HAITI VISION REGARDING THE RECENT EARTHQUAKE AND RELIEF EFFORT, WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM & RECONSTRUCTION

As the devastation in Haiti becomes clearer, and time passes, quality food and water are in short supply. And as many of us know, water and power are necessities in disaster response.

Even in the best of times, poor water quality in Haiti has affected children and many adults resulting in high cases of Salmonella, E-coli, Typhoid, etc. With the earthquake, the need for drinkable water has become desperate.

Therefore, Haiti Vision Inc., and authentic and reliable 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization in the United States and a recognized Haitian NGO with Custom Duty-Free in Haiti, with almost 15 years of dedication to helping the poor of Haiti, is launching "The Water of Life Project" to help the people of Haiti in their time of need by raising funds to purchase the Mobile MaxPure (MMP) developed by WorldWater & Solar Technologies. (Click here to download more information on the MMP)

This field-proven, solar powered generator with water purification capabilities can deliver up to 30,000 gallons of clean drinking water per day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week within 30 minutes upon arrival on the site. On January 15, 2010, the French Red Cross deployed on MMP to Port-au-Prince. However, as we are critically aware, more is needed.

As Christ once said, "I was thirsty and you gave me drink...verily I say unto you, in as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me." Matthew 25:34, 40

Please join us in this initiative by contributing financially in order to acquire this mobile water purification system, which will save many lives and help in the long-term recovery efforts by Haiti Vision to restore the basic necessities in Haiti such as rebuilding of homes, schools, and other constructions that are vital to the communities in Haiti.
